Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is PScorite?
PScorite is a simple, yet effective, cricket scoring software which works on a Palm-based Personal Digital Assistant (PDA).
What do I need to start scoring with PScorite?
Well, a Palm-based PDA (min. 300K memory and Palm OS 3.5 or above is essential).
Note: We recommend that to eliminate any compatibility issues, you check the demo version on your Palm device before proceeding to buy the product.
What is the restriction on the demo version?
The demo version is designed to give the user a comprehensive idea of PScorite. It has all the scoring functionalities enabled, while a few general functions like creating new matches are disabled. You can score one match for five overs, thereby getting to know the basic scoring screen.
How do I get a registration code for my PScorite?
When you are buying the product online, you would need to provide us with the HotSync User ID of your Palm PDA.
What is a HotSync User ID and how do I locate it?
The HotSync User ID is the name assigned to your Palm OS device as determined by you during your first HotSync. This HotSync User ID is essential for you to run PScorite's registered version.
To locate your HotSync User ID, do the following on your Palm OS handheld:
1. From the main Applications screen, locate and tap on the HotSync icon.
2. You can find your HotSync User ID at the upper right-hand corner.
Alternatively, you may locate it within the Palm Desktop software at the upper right hand corner of the Palm Desktop to the right of User ID.
Please note that the HotSync User ID is case and punctuation sensitive.
